La bella e la bestia

Il tavolo è tornato bianco, e ho scoperto che tutta la tavolozza di colori era già in questo piatto.  La B. manifesta apertamente il suo disappunto per tutto questo bricolage infrasettimanale. Sento di essere entrata nella fase 2 della scoperta della mia macchina fotografica, devo sperimentare un po’ con l’esposizione e vedere cosa succede. The kitchen table is back to white, and I’ve found that all the colour palette I needed was already on this plate. The B. shows his open contempt for this midweek DIY. I feel I have entered phase 2 in the discovery of my camera, I have to experiment with exposure and see what happens. Oggi è una giornata piena di stranezze. A parte un bel po’ di lavoro e un bellissimo incontro con la scrittrice olandese Margriet de Moor, mi sono decisa a fare tre cose ben precise per l’avanzamento del mio libro, e ne ho già fatte due.  Inoltre l’incidente col rosa dell’altro giorno mi ha fatto capire una volta per tutte che ogni casa detta da sé la sua tavolozza di colori, e così ho deciso di aggregarmi a Colour Lovers (che avevo sempre ammirato a distanza) per comporre la mia e vederla. Il sole sta tornando, da nord verso sud :)

Today is the quirkiest day. Beside quite a lot of work and a beutiful encounter with Dutch writer Margriet de Moor, I have made up my mind to do three precise things for the advancement of my book, and I have already accomplished two. Plus, the pink accident the other day has convinced me once and for all that every house dictates her own colour palette, hence I decided to join Colour Lovers (that I’ve been admiring from a distance for some time) to create and see what mine is. The sun is comin’ back, southbound from the north :)
