La bella e la bestia

Visto che le cose che ho in testa sono ancora in corso di maturazione e oggi non ho un granché da raccontarvi, ne approfitto per postarvi questa foto che volevo mostrarvi da tempo. Potrebbe sembrare uno scheletro fossile qualunque, ma la sua altezza è pari all’apertura di una mano. E’ minuscolo e sembra fragilissimo, e quel codino mi ha commosso. Fra gli scheletri giganteschi dei T-Rex faceva ancora più impressione. Immaginate l’emozione di quelli che l’hanno ritrovato.

Since the stuff I have on my mind is still in the maturing process, and today I don’t have much to tell you, I’ll grab the chance to post you this photo I’ve been long wanting to show you. It could look like the average fossil skeleton, but its height is equal to the width of a human hand. It’s tiny and it looks very fragile, and that little tail really moved me. It was all the more striking among the giant T-Rexes. Imagine the emotion of those who unearthed it.

Oggi mi sento così. Molto forte, molto vecchia.
