La bella e la bestia

 A volte quello che è intrecciato non si può sciogliere.

Sometimes what is entwined cannot be untied.

Spero che vi piaccia questa “versione Tim Burton” del Plaza su Central Park South, è una di quegli scatti che mi hanno veramente sorpreso. Sto riflettendo su ciò che non si vede. E’ strano come ci paragoniamo sempre agli altri basandoci su quello che possiamo valutare dall’esterno, quando sappiamo benissimo che quello che conta di più non si vede. E poi, in questi giorni ho scoperto di far parte di un clan, una tribù di persone. Si è manifestata tutt’intorno a me per condividere e sostenere; per quanto tu possa lottare per essere indipendente, quando la morte di qualcuno per poco non ti uccide, diventi molto consapevole di quanto siano forti quei legami invisibili.

I hope you enjoy this “Tim Burton’s version” of the Plaza on Central Park South, it’s one of those shots that really surprised me.  I’m thinking about what’s invisible. It’s funny how we often compare ourselves to others on the grounds of what can be seen, while we know very well that what counts most is not visible.  And also, these days  I have found out that, like it or not, I belong to a clan, a tribe of people . It rose all around me in sharing and support; for as independent as you can struggle to be, when the death of someone almost kills you, you become aware of how strong those invisible threads really are.
