E’ buffo come una foto possa tornarti in mente dopo mesi. Questa l’ho fatta a Williamsburg, a cui sto pensando perché ci tornerò alla fine di settembre. Oggi sono tornati tutti in città – nella confusione generale si vedono uomini e donne abbronzati che fino a ieri giocavano in spiaggia come bambini e che oggi tornano al lavoro con i loro completi e le valigette. Continuo a sentire di gente che si trasferisce in campagna lasciandosi tutto alle spalle – o sono io?
It’s funny how a photo can pop up in your mind after months. I took this in Williamsburg, which I’m thinking of these days because I’m going back at the end of September. Today everybody is back in town – in the general confusion you can spot tanned men and women who played like babies in the sand up to yesterday and today are back to business with their suits and suitcases. I keep on hearing about people moving to the country, leaving everything behind, or is it me?
