E’ ora di salire su quel tetto a vedere se arrivano ancora sorprese. Questa è la vista dal tetto di E. a Brooklyn, anzi, solo un pezzettino. Potete distinguere fra gli altri il Citycorp building e il Chrysler. Appena a sinistra c’era l’Empire State Building ancora tutto illuminato di verde per San Patrizio, e ancora più giù si vedeva fino alla punta di Battery Park. I ponti erano collane, e tutta la rocca di Manhattan splendeva come un gioiello sul fiume

It’s time to go up on that roof and see if there’s any surprises still coming our way. This is the view from E’s roof in Brooklyn, just a small piece of it. You can spot among others Citycorp building and Chrysler building. Just on the left there stood the Empire State Building still all lighted up in green for Sant Patrick’s Day, and you could see all the way down to the tip of Battery Park.  The bridges were pearlstrings, and the whole Manhattan rock shone like a jewel on the river.
