La bella e la bestia

Irragionevolmente felice.

Unreasonably happy.

Questo è uno dei gruppetti di scarpe penzolanti che abbiamo avvistato dappertutto a NY, pare che facciano da riferimento per dove trovare gli spacciatori, il che toglie loro un po’ di romanticismo; di solito sono scarpette da basket, ma abbiamo visto anche delle minicasse per computer! Queste bellissime scarpe col tacco alto dipinte d’oro erano appese sopra 6th street a Williamsburg. Oggi il cielo qui è dello stesso colore.

PS anche Swirly si è innamorata di Il dono di Lewis Hyde!!! (potete leggere qualcosa qui e nella mia lista dei libri n.2), e ha fatto partire un bel progetto che potete vedere qui. E’ anche il nostro libro della settimana a Zoe domani, per la Giornata Mondiale del Libro :)

This is one of those clusters of hanging shoes that we spotted everywhere in NYC, supposedly they’re drug dealers spots, which takes away a bit of the romanticism, mostly they’re Converse All Stars but we’ve spotted audio speakers too! These beautiful gold painted high heels were hanging over 6th st in Williamsburg. Today the color of the sky here is just the same.
