La bella e la bestia

Non proprio una Spada, ma l’ho comunque piantata nella Roccia. Una giornata abbastanza buona, nonostante la gola ancora in fiamme.

Not exactly a Sword, but I stuck it into the Stone anyway. Quite a good day, despite the throat still burning.

Il libro? Mettiamola così. Ho una montagna di spilli e devo farne una spada.

The book? Let’s put it this way. I’ve got a pile of pins and I’ve got to turn them into a sword.

Penso sempre che al crepuscolo e al mattino presto i suoi fiori splendano come lampadine. Sembra un abito da sposa.  Non ho mai aspettato che fiorisse un albero con tanta fedeltà.

I always think that in twilight and early morning her flowers shine like lightbulbs. She looks like the gown of a bride. I never waited so faithfully for a tree to flower.

Di nuovo abbattuta dall’influenza. Una Pasqua psichedelica, per non dire di più.

Down with the flu again. A psychedelic Easter, to say the least.

Oggi è una giornata così buona per la mia vita che non riesco a crederci.

Today is so good for my life that I just can’t believe it.

Certe giornate sono proprio disconnesse, si può solo aspettare che torni la scintilla. E i fiori della magnolia sono in ritardo di due settimane.

Some days are just braindead, you can only wait for the spark to come back. And the magnolia is two weeks late in flowering.
